Predictive Power Control for Photovoltaic Grid Connected System with Reduction of Switching Frequency
الملخّص
A predictive power control of a photovoltaic (PV) conversion system connected to an electrical grid based on finite states space model of a power converter, is presented in this paper, with switching frequency minimization. The method control chooses the switching state of the inverter that minimizes a cost function based on the error between active and reactive powers prediction to their reference values for eight voltage vectors. The optimal voltage vector that minimizes a predefined cost function is then applied to control the inverter. As in power converters control, one of the major challenges is the reduction of the switching frequency. It is important, in many applications, to be able to control or limit the number of commutations thereby the switching frequency of the converter switches. Simulation results are presented to validate the effectiveness of the method.
