الملخّص
This paper presents a three-phase four-wire shunt active filter (SAF) designed to enhance power quality under unbalanced non-linear load conditions. The reference currents are extracted using the enhanced active and reactive power theory (p–q) combined with self-tuning filters (STF) to ensure accurate harmonic isolation. Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is applied to a fuzzy logic controller (FLC) to automatically tune the controller gains and overcome the limitations of trial-and-error tuning. Simulation results prove that the proposed PSO-FLC significantly reduces current harmonics, enhances dynamic response, and ensures stable DC bus voltage control. The total harmonic distortion (THD) of the source currents is kept under the 5% level required by IEEE-519 standard. The proposed method achieves faster transient performance, less dynamic error with no overshoot compared to the conventional PI controller, making it suitable for practical power-quality applications.
