I am a Full Professor of Economics at the University of El Oued in Algeria, specializing in auditing, corporate governance, and international auditing standards. I earned my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Biskra in 2015, after completing a Master’s in Management and a Bachelor’s in Finance from the University of M’sila. With over 20 years of academic experience, I have held progressive roles from Research Associate to Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and now Full Professor. My teaching covers undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels, including courses in financial accounting, auditing, total quality management, and corporate governance. I am deeply engaged in research, with more than 25 peer-reviewed journal articles and four books published in my areas of expertise. I have presented at over 35 national and international conferences, and I am passionate about advancing knowledge in audit quality, creative accounting, and the integration of artificial intelligence in auditing. In addition to my academic roles, I serve as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Advanced Economic Research and have been an editorial board member for several international journals. I am also a certified accountant and auditor, and an active member of the National Accountability Council, as well as the Governance Thematic Group for the ESAGOV Project under the EU Erasmus+ Programme. Throughout my career, I have contributed to scientific committees for conferences and university boards, led academic departments, and participated in curriculum development and university publishing strategies. My work is driven by a commitment to academic excellence, ethical standards, and the development of future leaders in business and finance. I am fluent in Arabic, English, and French, and I enjoy working in diverse, international academic environments.
